Are you looking for a third dust collector to add to your hoard? Seems like you don't have enough

Ah never mind, I see it now. You just have a collector and a cyclone mounted up the wall. Originally it looked like you had two stacked one on top of another.

House is short on storage space so finally got around to making some wooden hangers for homedepot tubs. Can get 9 tubs above the garage door on each side

I just bought these exact bins at costco over the weekend. Was totally going to use your idea but then I saw your raised area above the door. Fuck!

My garage ceiling in this house is quite short. If i did it closer to the back of the garage, away from the door, id be knocking them all the time.

My clearance when the garage door goes up is like 3/4" at most lol

Funny enough, I think birds lay their eggs in the spring, and the dryer issues came in late summer, so I guess the nest itself was permeable enough to let the warm air through, but over time, the lint filled in the air pathways, and it was getting worse and worse. Those eggs are pretty desiccated.

Fucking birds man, been a struggle every year. I usually put something like this up in spring, I guess I forgot...

Got a lot of progress made on the idiotic side of the loft framing. This side is tied more into the structure than it was before and makes it feel a lot better. Makes the area open a lot. The little part of the wall is where the breaker box is.. that will be a project for next year.

In the after it looks like it has a slant.. that is my 2017 potato phone camera fx.

Redesigned the bedroom closet for the wife and I instead of expanding the door. After some spackle and paint then we played around with the setup. Thanks IKEA.

Good thing is that it’s modular so it can be modified easily after a while. First iteration; we’ll see how it goes as it’s a work in progress. Open to suggestions on layout

    Next up interior lighting

Had to replace our Richie auto-waterer heating element. When I flipped the breaker to test it, it attempted to weld itself to the outer wall. After a brief light show I replaced both after a trip to UFA. Safety 5th - this same condition can happen in our home ovens. Same thing happened to our 20 year old range. The insulation between heating tube and outer wall wears out and zappo.

Had to replace the back wall of the garage. At one point in time the back of the garage used to open out into the back alley. It definitely ended up rotting and water got into it during winter/rain and sucked. So my father in law and I quickly got it done one of the mornings. Took a solid 2 hours for us to do. I insulated and finished the inside on my days off from work when i had the chance. Took me longer than id of liked with my schedule but its done. Normally when i start a job i like to finish it asap but sometimes it does not work out.

this weekend anyways. put the winters on the Q5.. almost stripped a locking stud with the breaker bar. had to drive to borrow an impact which got it thankfully. also put up the christmas lights and recaulked my daughters bathtub where it had sunk in the corner over the years.

Not sure if this photo of my huge caulk needs to go in askleo:

Definitely not great, but the gap grew towards the edge. And then I kept touching it to make it worse.

I also did a bunch of caulking around the house, and used this tool. Was a game changer for how nicely the edge was. Really good at removing excess without spreading it up the wall/counter

If you're touching your caulk and it gets bigger it means it's working fine.

Finally caved and got a Bosch and it was totally worth it. Our old one was so loud that we wouldnt run it til we went to bed. I cant believe how quiet this thing is and its not even the top tier Bosch

It makes a huge difference. When our old dishwasher broke, I wasn't too concerned about the decibels on a new one as I always felt the old one wasn't that bad. Then we got a mid range Bosch (500 series) and I couldn't believe how quiet it was. I think the higher end models were the 800 series which must be silent.

^^Mines the 500 series too which is 44db. The 800 series brings it down to 42db and the top one is 39db but thats over 2500 lol You know you're old when you're talking db levels on dishwashers

Dishwasher specs are a favourite discussion point for me as well.
