    Default Guitar repair

Was gonna head to Guitarworks on 16th but I might as well ask if there is a better place for some minor work. My acoustic has a 6" longitudinal crack it in I was hoping to get fixed or at least evaluated to see if it's worthwhile getting fixed.

    Thanks.

I even hitchhiked to the library once cuz my parents were too lazy to drive me haha. Ya, I'm a nerd.

Mozell does great work but he takes forever. he always takes on more work than he can handle so if you have a few other guitars that you can play in the meantime then you are ok.

A buddy of mine is a Luthier and could check it out for you and see if it is repairable... The guy is amazing! Makes violins, guitars etc all from scratch and by hand!

huge PLUS ONE for Miles. he does outstanding stuff, prices are pretty good, he turns things around in a decent amount of time.

i split the headstock in half on one of my guitars and he patched it up and did a setup on it. by the time he was done with it, he had turned it into one of the smoothest playing guitars I've ever touched

i was just about to drop some stuff off with him. all the humidity has messed up my guitars' setups

I just had James Fry repair my Martin. He is an authorized tech and definitely knows his stuff. This is his website: http://www.jamesfryguitars.com/

I've also used Miles at Fretworks and he is really good, although got cranky at me last time I was in there for no reason.

I have an old semi hollow (84 vantage) and the neck pick up only works when I touch it and the switch is flimsy. Anyone know anyone who can help me? How do they access the wires? the f-holes?
