I definitely like your viewpoint than the one I chose, was expecting them to be higher and larger. Next time!

Did a big drive throughout the mountains at popular spots today. As I was driving towards my destinations, it made me realize that I had actually never been to any of them (Elbow Falls, Johnstone Canyon, Vermillion Lakes, Bow Valley viewpoint in Banff). Pics up tomorrow hopefully.
I think I'm going to put together a big collection of Alberta photos I like and make a book. Do you guys know a company that will design and print a book either online or local (preferably)?

Are you hoping to publish this book or just make it for yourself?Originally posted by msommers

If just for yourself companies like blurb or picaboo do a half decent job without a ton of $$ needing to be spent. If you're looking for a full pro star coffee table type album you may need to contact a photographer to put one together or at least order one for you, as most of them require a professional account set up with them. No one locas as far as I know, with the exception of Costco, but even they just send your files off to an online company and act as the middle man.
Thanks Melinda, appreciate the advice. It's nothing professional, just something I can put on the coffee table for people to look at but still be of good quality and sizes, like 8x11 for portrait orientation.
Here's some I like from today.

Just because I don't care, doesn't mean I don't understand
Thanks Melinda,
I just light and snap the pictures, my wife does the hard work, the posing. As you know you need a gentle and patient hand.

Haha this is true! I so wish I could train Rollie to help with posing. It would make those more difficult poses a lot easier! But despite having two kids of our own, he's still afraid of newborns
I know where he's comin from on that one. lol.
Although last night when I came home I had reasons to be afraid of my child, my wife gave her raspberries, she was quite literally covered from head to toe in them, it was pretty great.
Matt, how do you get to the location of the second one? I've wanted to get a shot from that side of the river forever but never bothered to try to figure it out.
