Default Where to buy fuel line and get it bent? 1995 Toyota 4Runner

Was replacing the fuel filter on my 95 4Runner and the outlet bolt was stripped. Ended up having to remove the entire piece of fuel line going from the outlet of the filter to the front end of the vehicle. The piece is made of steel and about 40" long. Looks like this:

I've been to Napa, AutoValue, and Partsource. None seem to have been able to source the tube or even find the right compression fitting (maybe because it is metric). The line is 5/16" with a 45 degree flare on the end. Compression fitting is threaded M14x1.50.

Anyone know of other places to try which might have a good selection? Or perhaps I can replace with an aluminum or rubber line? The hard part has been finding the fitting on both ends.

Last resort would be to go to a dealer or Pick n Pull.

If you go back tomorrow- find one of the old guys who get the m-f 8-5 shifts, there are fittings to adapt metric fittings to imperial hard lines properly... I got them at partsource next to varsity when I had to do mine. Believe its Blair up there who actually knows this stuff...

Go to geenline on black foot trail, give them the line and they can build you a whole new one.

I had a car stereo installer drill a hole through my fuel line (long and a ton of bends) years ago, ordered a new line in from BMW Canada. It was as pricey as I could find as the installer was paying part and install.... bet the a-hat never drilled again without triple checking.

You'd want a very experienced hand at making one up from scratch, fuel kinda important in the big picture and mores if you are a smoker.

You can try these guys http://www.abilityhose.ca/

I had the pressure hoses for the power steering on an Audi rebuilt and modified by these guys.

Great guys and quick work, had 3 different sections done for me in about an hour.

I'm sure they can make one for you.
Vtec.... It just kicked in yo

Depending where it is located, you could cut the steel line back, find the fitting (seems like ability hoses may have it), put it on the line, flare the line again with a flaring tool.
Then use aftermarket braided flexible fuel line and some fittings to bridge the gap.

But that's ghetto and I don't recommend it.
