9. Inside The Cape

Every year my beautiful, amazing girlfriend has a kickass birthday party. Last year I surprised her by getting up and singing a song I had written. This year I came up with a gameplan to surprise her like never before. Our anniversary is right before her birthday, so her party usually falls in between which means I have to do something special for. This would be a great way to surprise her at her party with a big diamond (which she constantly reminds me to get her). So my plan is to write a funk song for her and recruit my musician friends again to perform it. She always has her picks of bands so I would make it random musicians so she wouldn’t know what was going on. In between sets they would get on stage and I would be gone somewhere in the back to change into costume. Going to get a 70′s retro one piece jumpsuit ala David Lee Roth and big heeled 70′s boots along with afro and shades to boot. I will have a cordless microphone and from wherever I am will shout like good ol’ James Brown and stop the crowd, as they wonder what’s going on. I’ll come out in full attire and surprise her and everyone. In true James brown fashion after the song is done someone will come out with a cape and drape it over my shoulders as I lay on the ground. I will stand up and on either the back or inside of the cape the words “Will You Marry Me” will be written. Last year I had people crying when I sang to her so I expect this year to be even better.

Not quite. Harvest Moon is an SNES game from 1996. Farmville is a super shitty rehash of it. The original Harvest moon was actually an RPG.

10. Dozen Rose Photo Booth
I will pick her up from work and with the help of my bestfriend leave 2 dozens of red roses inside the photobooth at Chinook Mall. Once she gets in the mall with me, with her unaware I will lead her to the photo booth and surprise her with the roses and rose petals scattered eveywhere inside. Tell her I want to take some pictures at the photo booth and propose to her with a short sweetest speech while the pictures are snapping away. Afterwards take her for a romantic dinner in Banff at the Grizzly House for a celebration.

There's nothing more romantic than smelling like grease!
