***Class Rules***

4 Cylinder = 0 Power adders
6 Cylinder = 1 power adder
8 Cylinder or larger engine +2
Turbo/Supercharger/Nitrous +1 each
AWD +1
Alcohol as main fuel source + 1
Sticky tires 10.5” or UNDER or 295 drag radials or UNDER + 1
Sticky tires over 10.5” or 295 and OVER if a drag radial +2(Includes 10.5W)
All cars will be checked for DB of noise at 3500 rpm no load - if over 95 db +1
All cars must have valid Plates and registration.

Absolutely NO Tow backs or Tow Vehicles

Any Bye runs must be within 15% of your previous best run

***New sport compact shootout***


1. Primary fuel for eligible vehicles must be gasoline. Use of Race Gasoline and E-85 permitted. Water/Methanol Injection is permitted. Nitrous Oxide is Permitted. Alcohol is prohibited

2.Eligible cars must be streetable with the exception of tires. All variations of tire construction are permitted. Bias ply Slicks, Drag Radials or Street Radials. Any size DOT radial tire is permitted. Maximum size slick or DOT bias ply tire is 28.0” x 10.5”

3. Eligible engines (v8less) must be of an overhead cam (OHC) configuration. [exception: RX-7/8 Etc. Rotary]

4. All formats of drive, be it RWD, FWD or AWD are eligible for the shootout.

5.Suspension: All cars must utilize stock front and rear suspension and mounts. Aftermarket front control arms, rear control arms, and sub-frame connectors are permitted. Aftermarket struts and shocks are
permitted. Ladder bars, four links, and wheelie bars are prohibited on all cars.


For the purpose of this class a Sport Compact is defined as follows:

Any vehicle with an OEM engine displacement less than 3.8L. [3,800cc or 231 cubic inches.] Cars with stroker kits are permitted, providing that they do not exceed the displacement cap. Example a stroked 370z would be ineligible. A 2.4L stroked to 2.6L would be eligible.

$50 to the track & $25 to race in what ever class. $25 goes in to the pot.

Weird they added a aports compact class. The rules as they were, especially for 4cyl boosted cars on slicks gave them a huge advantage..... You would be racing na v8s on real street tires.

He is a friend of mine, Its an awesome car. IMO it needs a better tune though.


I had tons of fun at the event. First time out at the track in the Gf's car and managed to come home with an 11:86@114 with some 1.5 60fts and got to drive the car home after. Cant wait for the next one.

Yep Alpha 9 kit from AMS, installed in house, and also tuned by VEX.

No Alpha kit comes with a tune lol. Chris Black charges $3k for an E-tune

Its a complete kit. Nothing needs to be built, modded or tuned. Comes with a cobb access port with an ams tune.

We did the install on my buddies car in seattle. Pita was removing the engine to install the turbos.

The tune was good out of the box as ams supplied it. If you guys tried to use atune out of an older kit, maybe thats why your tune went 131 and my buddies ran 142 with supplied tune.

Put the kit in as intended and it will actually make the 650 it is supposed to make.

GTR only won because the supra had problems & went out in the semis.
