? about caps

I haev a RF 1 farat cap in my car, i have had my car parked for a while with the battery connected because i need to utilize my alarm. Anyways im in the process of removing all my stereo adn carpet and such and i touch my farat cap and it's cold and then i look at it it has a layer of frost on the terminals and a little bit of condensation on the outside of it.

Do i have a problem?

Chris,do u ever run your car and let it get to operating temp? The condinstion may be shocking if it startes to melt and there is still power to it, but i can't tell u much.

I run my car about every 3 months, im lazy and don't care about he engine case it's out the window. Plus i don't turn on my stereo unless it's warm inside my car, i wouldn't want to ruin my sub. my car hasn't been started for about 2 months and i noticed this today on the cap.

Frost on the cap?...
Just means it got cold faster than the air around it, or once it was cold, some warmer humid air rolled in.
Perhaps I misunderstood the problem, but it doesn't sound like a problem to me.
