Beyond's Most Wanted
I've driven a lot of those roads in the vid, and have always wondered how fun it would be going flat out. Awesome vid, SFO roads are amazing if you can get away with driving like a jackass.
That last corner he did (finish line) I drove pretty hard through there when there was no traffic. Unfortunately, it was in a Sebring convertible.

MY fave moment was when he flew up that road sideways, landed and BARELY missed the wall by mm's
Sick. Clever editing too. No way they'd be able to shut down all those sectors for very long.
Did i read that one part correctly, 0-60 in 1.8seconds? Dammmmmmnnn
can't imagine how much planning would go into a video like this, insane!Originally posted by eglove

if i remember correctly ken blocks gymkhana's are always one continuous shot. surprised there werent a ton of ppl on the side watching.
No they aren't. It's all edited with multiple takes.
The skid marks on the road are the dead giveaway that it is shot in multiple takes.Originally posted by Drooool

i was thinking he may practice before the actual shot goes down...but i HIGHLY doubt gymkhana 5 was shot continuously
its shot in different sections there is no way he can do all of that first try without any fuck ups, it takes him months to get everything set up, i follow him on twitter, he will do one section save and just edit it into another one.
Plus one set of tires would not last the entire time. He probably needs a couple sets.
The bridge one was done on memorial day? some holiday they had a few weeks back when the bridge was closed anyway. pretty cool.
Bumping this thread with a neat sort of "technical" clip of sorts....kinda long....but a good watch....
