Famicom and Super Famicom are NES and SNES respectively.Originally posted by -relk-
But I don't see any mention of SNES? Or NES?
how would someone even have that collection? that's crazy business, all sealed in the packaging, including bonus gold prize discs and everything, must have been an old bored collector or rich loonie
JDM Powrrrr !

Which then makes me think on how complete the NES collection is. I guess this really comes down to on your definition of complete.
Very shady, he doesn't show any pictures of the collection, that partial bookshelf picture doesn't count.
Plus he's overcharging for shipping which is illegal, it's not $1000 to ship something like this. You could hire your own driver with a truck for that.
Plus he says it comes with all 19 Virtual Boy titles. According to Wikipedia there are 21 in the North American market.
Plus he says it comes with Virtual Bowling, that's one of the releases from another market, if he's including those then there's way more games. 21 is just the north American market. And he didn't mention Jack Bros. which is one of the rarest Virtual Boy games.
No mention of any Nintendo World Championship cartridges or anything else common collectors can relate to. If you want to see a true complete collection check out www.thepunkeffect.com. That's Pat Contri's site, he does some strange videos but somewhere in there he has a video review of his complete collection including some of the original in store demo units and black box sets.

Jesus man, I know you like Transformers, but you need to get out more. No one should get this upset over a movie based on children's toys.
Marth strikes again. I would estimate about 300 pics in that ad.

I'm kind of a genius, go figure.
I spend $500 a month on Ebay purchases, it's strange to see a listing with the pictures outside the preview pane. No big deal.Originally posted by clem24

Angry Video Game Nerd has a comparable, if not more complete collection.

Even if he did charge $1000 (which is believable for insurance), at a selling price that high, it seems moot.
I can eat more hot wings than you.

This post was much funnier after I clicked the link... seems like an extraordinarily well-documented collection.Originally posted by Mar

Still a lot of money for videogames, but I guess they're a good investment!
