Default Canadians now richer than Americans.

Due to a combination of factors, but mostly due to the real estate collapse in the US which may eventually hit us too.

That's not fair. Our housing market didn't crash. Yet

We'll see how rich we are once the housing correction rolls through full swing. It's already underway basically everywhere.

Actually no, Alberta RE is booming again. Vancouver's "bubble" never burst, despite the doomsday naysayers. As much as everyone who hasn't bought wishes otherwise, high housing prices are not going anywhere.

Evidently, you don't follow the real estate markets that closely. BC has been into a correction for some time now.

Forget Alberta, it will come around too. High housing prices = unsustainable over the long term.

Typical of people see what they want to see within an article.

Correction is coming for Vancouver. It's not fast but it is correcting.

Correction has not started in Toronto but it will

Calgary and Edmonton market is just right. Tons of jobs, rental market vibrant, I don't see adjustment in AB unless another 2008 comes along.
