If it's a good action flick, then I'll be happy The only comic book movie that's coming out in the next while that I will be disappointed in if it really sucks is X-Men: Days of Future Past next year.

If I get to see Superman open a can of whoopass on some Kryptonian baddies, then hey, popcorn movie!

I enjoyed but thought it could have been better. I think the problem is I hyped myself too much watching the trailers. Too bad they didn't setup a World's Finest or JL movie after the credits.

It wasn't bad, I thought the action sequences did a lot of rinse and repeating, and the movie felt like it was dragging towards the end. Character development was pretty well done.

I liked it. A little of the story felt forced (mostly to do with Lois Lane and Kal-El), but on the whole, I liked it a hell of a lot more than I liked Iron Man 3.

Also, Faora... One of the best baddie women in recent memory. Kicks ass and takes no names :P

ROFL. If I felt the same way, then Man of Steel must suck balls. I'll have to check it out and compare.

i thought it was an ok movie but IMO didn't live up the hype.

    Spoiler:

once thing I don't get is how the ghost Jor-El can communicate to them like he was alive and knew everything that was happening

how did Clark knew that he needed to go all the way up (I think Alaska?) to find the spaceship buried in the ice

PS - there wasn't a scene after the credits
I felt the same way. I felt there were 2 movies going on: one about Kal-El and his transition to adulthood/Superman and one movie about Aliens invading the Earth. It felt they tried to cram too much into the movie.

The action scenes were good, but I felt alot of what was going on was a bit rushed considering they tried to fit a shit load of story into a 2.5 hour film. I would see a sequel, because it will be more focused on the current story of Clark/Kal, rather than both history and current story.

    Spoiler:
The "ghost" of Jor-El is actually an AI programmed with a part of Jor-El's consciousness. No, I don't know how they did it, but I assume when Jor-El created the key, it somehow did a mind scan or something of him and uploaded it to the key.

Watched this yesterday and I am far from a superman fan, but I really enjoyed this movie.
