The car was much faster at the first AutoX with the OEM R compound tires, but they wore out after 3000km's lol. To be honest, it felt slow the last 2 AutoX's... going to try to get another set of the R's. I'm only averaging about 1.0g's today, the first AutoX this year I was averaging 1.35g's.

I didn't time everyone, but I'm willing to bet you're in the upper quadrant of fast times that day.

Thanks! Fastest someone timed me at was 44.6 seconds. I don't overly care about times I just want to have fun without getting harassed by security or the police. Next year I may pursue times with a set of R comps on 17s and go to actual timed events.

No need to wait for R comps -- just come out and get started. There is an event in Red Deer this Sunday:

My Direzzas are quite low on tread so I don't think I will be able to do any more events on them this year.

Here are some clips of me doing some runs with my sedan. I had consistent times of 47- 49 seconds, until i clocked a 46.93 in one of my runs. I wish I had a 5 speed though, driving an auto is frustrating.

    Keeping it rice since 2005.

LOL! If you decide to go to R comps, plan on a tire budget exceeding $6000 per summer (mine is way more than that). Street tires are cheap in comparison -- just buy a set and have fun!

I ran a 44.3 as my best run of the day, giving a ride to my gf's 9 y/o neice who's a bit of a thrill seeker haha. She screamed a little. Note the booster seat. I think she had a grin on her face?

Spectators were having a good laugh as I was getting her seated properly in the booster seat at the starting line haha.

Did anyone else have crazy noise dive like this after the "straight"?
or was I braking too hard?

My best time was 46.0 according to Mike.
Half of my runs didn't save on my dash cams, so I didn't have footage of that run.

I think I should get the prize for "most lost"

There's no such thing as braking too hard if you're not locking up.

What's what I noticed too. Probably one of the contributing factor is the C63BS's steering input should be quite precise and provides great feedback to the driver.

The trick is to drive on R compound tires, then switch to street tires, because it's like driving in slow motion after the switch.

Honestly, it's getting used to your car and knowing the limits. If you enter a corner too fast, or push too hard mid/exit, you're going to have a lot more steering input.
