For 715 our prof asked if we could have some doorknob join our group and we literally told him no haha.

I don’t have time to hold peoples hands for 10 weeks.

Jesus. Anyone that's done a higher tier MBA or eMBA have people like this in their cohort? Genuinely curious if there's evidence of idiots like that accepted to all programs.
    not really, no.

Posted snapshots of a group text without blocking out names like an idiot. Other idiot didn't understand basic financial terms.

I mean there was really no reason to block out names. In any form or fashion people would figure out who it is.

Nonetheless, was brought to Prof's attention and out of respect for colleague I've taken down said discussion.

It's good practice not a disparage classmates, clients or coworkers in any "written" format. Nothing good can come of it.

It was less so the lack of understanding of financial concepts as it was the attitude given and being completely wrong as well.

To add many times after telling someone they are wrong (when you actually are wrong) is what caught my attention. Even if you are right.. to communicate in that way isn't acceptable.

What’s the course load like for OBHR 721?

Work wants me to take vacation to do the block week so I’m thinking of doing it in the evenings if I the course work is easy.

    Thanks.

Didn’t have to take that specific one?

Who is teaching? My OBHR course with Justin was actually a fair amount of work. Not challenging just a lot of work.

Yeah, Weinhardt. It's a requirement to graduate now. Advanced Leadership.

It's a lot of writing. I believe the group paper is 30+ Pages (double spaced). It's a scientific paper though, so you actually have to research and stuff (not incredibly relevant tbh)
You write a "Harvard Review" style piece on that paper.
You write weekly journal response to assigned readings (some weeks can be pretty heavy)
You do a charismatic speech (2 minute speech)
Also group presentation on the paper.

Nothing is hard minus the workload. With that said, still managed 3 classes (including this one) in my final semester so take that as you will!

Justin is kindof a hardass but I liked him. Super sarcastic little guy.

    Thanks gents.

Guess the company I'm working for decided they like me and want to pay for my school and time off to take block week courses. Nice surprise!

Will be hammering out from Aug26-30.

    It does for sure.

Not having to go to that class 1 night a week for the rest of the semester will be a huge relief with the other 3 classes I'm taking.

    I can see the light!
