Courses are exactly the same for EMBA, even according to official calendar. It has the “better” Friday Saturday schedule available rather than evenings. They pay for your parking and give you food making the cost more “all in”. Expectations for courses are lower, you can’t really fail an MBA course but EMBA is very much a if you show up you get your A. More group work / participation and less examination. It’s also easier to get into the EMBA program as most entry requirements are waived, if you can pay you are in.
But hey, you get to use the executive title.
It’s pretty tough to justify, especially considering it’s less academically rigorous and I would argue you will get less out of it if you are actually into the content of the degree. If all you are after is letters and someone else is paying then fill your boots.
