Anyways, man I am like 51xx in line still =( well looks like I'll be waiting for awhile. I Just hope it doesn't come 10-13 days after launch date, as I would like to qualify for their $50 credit for the "inconvenience".

Apple is probably the one not giving out the sims for unlocked phones so they can save them to use on activations/upgrades which is where they make more $.

Considering that the iPhone 5 is the only device on the market (that I know of) to use the nano sim, I think you would be just fine...

If you do, in fido there is a "Reserve Phone" button that also takes you to what your position is.

Yeah, if not on day of release I am thrilled to be paid $50 to wait for 14 days. Like getting bumped on a flight for cash, hotel and credit for future flights. I highly doubt Rogers is going to allow this to happen, with the lost revenue from the Leafs this year I suspect Rogers is going to hurt plenty enough and will need my fifty large.

I'll just keep my order through Apple in that case. Still shows processing and shipping is estimated for Oct 9th.

From the look of it, people that got it are having trouble trying to find a SIM anyway. So I might as well wait I guess.

Playing with my iPhone 5 now. Coming from iPhone 3GS, I'm in love with the phone. I did install iOS 6 on the 3GS and performance is actually slightly better but the 5 just blows it away.

max, I know you're just itching to get your hands on the 5. You will be impressed. haha.
