Oh, but I should note, I've been talking with Telus client care (retentions) reps, sorry it that was unclear.

I do definitely have that offered to me though (6GB data in the $55 and/or $60 plans I listed).

What is the price on the Ghost Armor? I would want front and back protection. My wife's iPhone 4s has ZAGG Invisible Shield HD, it took a day for her to ripple the edge somehow. As it was bought and installed at BB the labour is free and I only had to order online a warrantee replacement from the USA maker, they charge a further $4 or so and sent out my replacement sheet. Now I need to go back to BB and have them install the replacement and return to ZAGG the damaged sheet. All this needs to be done within 60 days or ZAGG charges me full price for the replacement.

All the hassles involved I am now of the mind ZAGG is not a good deal considering what my time is worth. I will have Ghost Armor applied on my iPhone 5 and skip the USA order and Canada Post BS.

It's the same price for new and hardware upgrade, $179 on new and $229-$50 rebate =$179.. And prices are set by apple they won't change them.. They only give you a deal on your plan from retentions.

Talking to retentions or "customer relations" vs. normal sales on the phone is day and night. Just because you call in doesn't mean you're talking to retentions.

I'm currently having the same problem with Rogers where I want to upgrade my 500MB and get the 6GB data but stay in the same vicinity as my current plan $61. The sales associate said "she can't do this for me" which I then asked "you can't do this for me? or the company can't?" after a 10 second pause...."I can't"

...lol customer relations ended up phoning me afterwards and essentially giving me the upgrade while deducting my phone plan so I only pay $1 more.

I figured this might be the case, but wasn't sure since I've seen retentions do some pretty impressive things to keep a customer.

Anybody else who had their original "Oct 9th delivery" (but was shipped/trackable as of last Saturday/Sunday) pre-order also get affected by the UPS delays in Kentucky?

Mine shipped Saturday from China, was in Anchorage on the 25th (all OK, scheduled delivery for Friday to YYC), went to Kentucky on Wednesday morning...that's when I guess there was a severe storm that exact day (and nothing went out from UPS there), so things were delayed til late Thursday.

Just spoke with UPS and, now, quote:

"I regret to inform you that your Apple shipments have been delayed and are rescheduled for delivery by end of day on Wednesday, October 3, 2012."

As of this morning it was in Richmond, BC, but the weekend is here now argh!

And the CSR from UPS said that a large majority of their iPhone shipments go through Kentucky plant, guess alot of people were also affected...

Since I don't answer phone calls lol am I ghetto to be using the existing film that came with the phone? I cut out a little triangle for the round button at the bottom and trimmed the back piece a bit. haha
