Don't. It's a decent operating system, but has almost no apps, and Microsoft refuses to comment on whether or not WP7 phones will get the WP8 update.Originally posted by Cos
I think I am going W7 just to have variety.

They are not, some will get 7.8. Hopefully their apps grow with WP 8 though, some nice phones on the way.
Yah, no W8 upgrade for any of the W7 devices, they decided to change the whole chibang around, so that a developer can develop across all of microsoft products, thus resulting in faster app development for W8. There is over 100,000 apps on the W7 store...all the major ones are there. Sure they may not be a fart app or the machine gun app like on the apple device, but there are plenty of good apps. I moved from Apple to my nokia 710 and love W7, and will continue to use it until its time to upgrade a few years down the road, right now it does all I need and has all the apps I need, so can't complain.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

The Nokia 920 is what I am eyeing right now...that phone is sick, but won't upgrade as I am done with contracts and have to buy out the phone, and it will be too rich for my blood
Unfortunately there's tons of fart and machine gun apps, but every time I see a useful or cool app on a friends iPhone and Android, it doesn't exist for WP7. The ONLY app for that is available for WP, and not the other 2 (or BB), is Zombies!!! the boardgame... which we've been playing as a drinking game for a decade, lol.Originally posted by eblend

Actually I noticed there was no Zedge when I was playing with it. Pretty much one of the only apps I actually use.
This is getting very interesting..

So the Jury foreman was previously sued by Seagate (now partially owned by Samsung).

It's all Samsung's conspiracy theories!! Sore losers..
Had to say it before an i-sheep did.
Sounds like the jury foreman is a big dumbass with a pre-disposition to uphold patents no matter what since he has a vested interest. Plus he possibly has a hate on for Samsung. The trial stinks and they should get a new one, however IANAL.
And the truth is slowly starting to unravel eh..

Apple, using selective quoting. Shocking.None of these statements were revealed during the trial, and instead Apple’s lawyers used bits and pieces of select quotes that ultimately may have mislead the jury and resulted in Samsung’s defeat.
Not surprising really. Most anybody will misquote someone else to bend the facts to their version of the truth. Such is human nature. What the real shame is, is that the Samsung folks didn't have the same memo, to reveal the rest of the information to the jury.
I smell an appeal coming on for sure.

In other words there's finally something we can say that apple didn't do first? lmfao
Nah, they have a patent on that too.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Poor job on Samsung's lawyers part for not pointing out how badly they'd taken it out of context.(Or maybe they did, how do we know) Can't really fault Apple's lawyers for it, it's kinda what lawyers do, not blatantly lie but re-arrange the truth to sound better for them.
And around and 'round we go

Doesn't matter what phone you have, the only people winning here are the lawyers.

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.
