all that wasted money if they had the money to buy a drag car and then the money to make this this that fast, imagine waht they could have done with a better platform.

There's an auto Saturn in Calgary that runs the 1/4 mile at Race City from time to time. But it's not part of the 12 second club for sure...

I guess any car has potential if you want it to...

I could drop a motor into a tin grabage can, slap on some wheels and run single digit 1/4 mile times all day.

The real skill comes in doing it in a hot ride and making the car look sick as well (no strip downs).

thats true, but why would you wanna be just another fast civic in town? or another fast 240? people would more easily remeber a fast saturn because its a rarity.

and 1badpt not saying i HATE juice, just saying it'd be the last mod on my car

they would have spent most of the money on getting the car and wouldn't have much left for upgrades Good thinking man

Yeah the mods are all for performance, it doesn't look like this car was worked on by an enthusiast. On the one hand, I know its more difficult modding north american cars(for lack of aftermarket support), but on the other hand, if you don't like the car that much to begin with, how can you justify spending so much money on it?

The performance numbers are cool, especially for a Saturn, but there's nothing else to the car. I'm not feeling that flame job at all

no doubt, like i said i think the car is dawg ugly. just even the body style of it i hate the SL series, dunno why. just not a 4 door fan i guess. but yea impressive times, i just wanna aim for 15-16's and it looks like its possible

youre just being silly now! with the money they put into buying the car and then buying or fabricating the performance parts (which i am fairly sure they cost a fortune since it is not a platform with alot of aftermarket support)

anyone could have bought an older mustang, integra, VW, civic, or any of the other countless number of cheap second hand cars with a better aftermarket support.

and i do understand the drive (pardon the pun) to be unique, that you would be unique by painting any car that colour

it just seems pointless to me.

hehe.. sweeet.. it goes to show what a little hardwork and determination could lead to.. like my car runs wha.. 16's? 17's? hahaha.. but yet somebody on the org has a cavalier that's 400hp.

its also a drag car too I think.

c'mon now, I wanna see a mountain bike run 15's.
