I would like some recommendation of locations where I can take some rolling shots.
Since this is the first time I am doing rolling shots. I would prefer the location to be isolated and without interference from other vehicles.
Any ideas?

How about that long stretch of straight, wide road on Stoney from 17th Ave SE all the way towards Country Hills Blvd?
In non-peak hours there is barely any traffic. Most of the time when I'm on my bike there is nothing in my way.
Also, that long stretch of road gives you plenty of time and chances to take good shots.
My 2 cents.

That's a great idea. The speed might be too fast for me as a first time experiment. But will definitely consider it.
What part of the city?
In New Brighton (far SE), there is a new road that has not yet been opened to traffic that starts somewhere in New Brighton and pops out at 52nd St and 130 Ave SE.
It's blocked off to cars, but you can walk and cycle on that road. I think if you enter from the New Brighton suburb and not from 130 Ave/52nd St you might be able to get in with a motorcycle without getting into any trouble? Don't take my word for it though

Are you referring to the north end of New Brighton?
Very north end of New Brighton Drive?

Ehh I think so. I'm a suburb over so I can't remember where it starts specifically. It's not shown on that map though as it's relatively new.
I think that one of those stubby roads is now actually a full road. Possibly that little stub off the top of New Brighton Drive. I think maybe New Brighton Heath is now extended?
Now I'm afraid I haven't got it quite right.. but there is definitely a road there! You can see it from 130 Ave and 52nd St, I'm just not quite sure where the other end starts
How much space do you need for the photos? There's a new school in Copperfield (St Isabella) and there is a school bus lane there that is completely unused. You can see the length of the bus lane on Street View here: https://maps.google.ca/maps?q=939+Co...HqUh-OS1iiVvYw
But there is already a school there...just not open for business yet. Evenings and weekends the parking lot is empty.
This one I'm sure of

No, even better is the section SOUTH of 17th all the way to wherever the dirt begins... That's where I go sometimes to loosen up the carbon in my exhaust.Originally posted by Disoblige

Speed for rolling shots makes everything look better. Your shutter speeds don't have to be as long to achieve the feel of speed.
