I MAKE BALLER CARS MORE BALLER.....
Reading that PDF just about brought me to tears. Good find, man.
I was in the basement looking for my old license plate a couple weeks ago and found my collection of Nintendo Power pogs. Hefty nostalgia abounds.
I remember BEGGING my parents to subscribe me to that magazine....
Oh the memories...

I still have this magazine, had a subscription for years.Originally posted by Vagabond142

This is actually more a Konami code since it works on many of the Konami games, kids just remember it as the Contra code. It actually debuted on another game and didn't get popular until Contra. The really weird thing is when the sequel Super Contra came out, the code changed, it was right, left, down, up, B A (or something close).Originally posted by spike98

Jesus man, I know you like Transformers, but you need to get out more. No one should get this upset over a movie based on children's toys.
Now I know why they use 555 phone numbers in movies, because idiots like me call numbers they see on the screen.
(and no, that powerline phone number doesn't work anymore)

The funniest part of all is that number is now a phone sex hotline.

You guys know that it was just announced that Nintendo Power is being discontinued, right?
Sad day in gaming; I used to borrow these from the library and read them, even if I didn't have the games they were talking about.

Stop with the antics. Beyonder.
Yeah, I just heard the news, but I haven't picked up a gaming magazine for probably at least 10 years. The Internet is awesome.
The school library used to have Nintendo Power, EGM, and GamePro. Being an "honour student" meant I could take time off during class to go to the school library instead. I learned so much haha.
Duck Hunt was the only game I spent a lot of time with on the NES. Street Fighter II Turbo and Super Mario World on the SNES took up my entire elementary school existence. 96* beeyotches! I sold off my SNES games with boxes, manuals and all last year. Some of those games actually appreciated in price beating inflation! It's like I got paid to play those games. Can't see that happening with cheap optical disc games though.
Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.
Im Just about finished building my Emulator box.
I have two wireless Logitech F710 Controllers, and the Computer is setup to run SNES, NES, and SEGA Genesis games.
No keyboard/mouse, all controlled using a Joystick, and some software called RomShelf (for now, but i have a buddy custom programming me something better).
I use this box:
Foxconn A3700

It is a seriously Small box.

I would be all over this in a heartbeat.
How much did the setup set you back?
