Don't have a video but today I was heading northbound on deerfoot by 16th avenue and a semi trucks outer tire/axle rod broke off, tires rolling down deerfoot, smokes the side of a taxi and continues to travel down deerfoot until it comes to a stop. The semi went a good 3/4 km before he realized what happened lol.

If there's one thing Snowcat, Volksfragen, BadCarCamsofCalgary (or whatever the Youtube name is), and I can all agree on (based on the videos we all post), filter runners are the fucking bane of all existence.
She was not too close to the truck in front, although it is a big truck so there is a mild forgiveness there. HOWEVER.... entering a filter turn at full speed and despite seeing the solid green and, perhaps, braking to make sure it was safe to turn, she goes 100% commit and cuts off both the bike (you can hear him throttle up, come off the throttle slightly as she cuts across, then throttle back up) and myself in her filter turn. I even waited for the truck to clear the intersection before going and she STILL went 100% commit.....

Not a bad driver so much as a close call. Ignore the date/time on the video, my camera keeps resetting, but this happened on the TransCanada heading West a couple Fridays ago, out near the turnoff to Calaway Park.
You can see the sparks flying from the front axle. Tire launched off the ditch and ended up hitting a minivan behind me. I was taking my 7yr old to a hockey game, could've been a much different night!

One of the most bizarre things I have ever saw in traffic.
At the 0:10 mark, you can see cars funnelling through the intersection after making a left hand turn.
At the 0:15 mark, I think there has been an accident in the intersection given the location of this white truck.
At the 0:20 mark , you can see another pick up blocking the intersection to my left.
At 0:24 I realize whats happening - all these tuners are running through this intersection against the red light! And the pick up trucks are blocking traffic to allow this.
At the same time, you can see a semi and pick up with a white door on the right side of the intersection who have a green light being forced to wait while these guys run the red light.
At 0:32, the pick up with white door is probably beyond pissed off and gets a yellow light and goes.
At 0:44, I yell at the truck blocking the left side of the intersection - I wasn't angry, just some banter and he replied with some profanities.
Obviously some sort of tuner meet going on here.
