Car-cam bad drivers thread

Wow that brought me right back.

I pushed a yellow left turn the same way, I was deemed at fault. I wrote off my car that day and I learned a _very_ valuable lesson. I followed in behind a guy and I didn't check the gap. It was yellow when we both started turning.

If it's yellow, you still have to yield to oncoming no matter what. Wait it out and go when safe.

So clueless lol. Not sure which is worse, the ones that keep doing what they are doing when you honk, or the ones who spastically jerk the wheel in the other direction

I'm kinda confused as to how that intersection is supposed to work.

I see the left 2 lanes are 'must left turn only' at the traffic lights, but it seems like the right 2 lanes just magically turns into 1 lane without any signage/warning.

Is that some wacko roadway design?

Hard to tell, but looking at the vid again, signage looks like the right lane is a mandatory turn lane as well.

Caught this one this morning. This is a newly constructed roundabout. Watch the centre of the roundabout as I approach. There is an oncoming truck in a place he should not be!!!

Beware of volume!!!!

I had the film on the lens of my camera, so it's poor quality. Intersection is 178st and 87ave westbound in edmonton. There is 5 lanes, 2 turning southbound, 1 north and 2 west. The lanes don't merge at any point.

Not one but two red light runners. First was a stale green but he second one (the Avalanche) was behind me and went around me to blow the light.

First guy was half to three quarters in on yellow.... so who cares. Second guy was definitely red.

We just had a customer contact us tonight because their truck got keyed in SE Calgary (Auburn Bay - Save on Foods Parking Lot).

Please watch the video for all the evidence as he had one of our dual channel dash cameras installed.

We have a clear photo on the person, and a partial plate number. This happened on Nov 8th 2015.

Actually the count down light isn't consistent in this area. Sometimes the pedestrian hand comes up solid and it immediately turns the traffic light to yellow. Other times there is roughly a 5-7 second delay once the pedestrian hand comes up solid. Regardless of the countdown light or not, Avalanche guy ran a red light.
