Have you spend any time in Richmond/Metro Vancouver area much?

I was utterly blown away how decent the drivers here are, as compared to that area.

Two different comparisons (spend a lot of time in both cities).

Richmond/ Van = just piss poor driving ability/ knowledge

Calgary = narcissistic driving attitude

Definitely surprises me when people say stuff like this. Especially when I hear snowcat say it all the time. You guys need to spend some time in other cities xD
I find Calgary drivers to be pretty decent for the most part

Any idea why my video quality is shit? (not youtube, the dashcam) - You can't make out any license plates unless the car was stopped in front of the camera...

Almost looks like the lens is focusing too close. What kind of dashcam?

That's just a wide angle lense. Even my GoPro recording on 4K can't read lettering half the distance I can with my eyes. Now I just read the plate out loud so I can hear it on the video.

Center point of video is dash/hood. The camera is focusing on that.

You need to aim the camera higher, get as little of the dash/hood as possible, watch out for pointing it too high as it'll effect the auto-brightness...

Heres one of a driver on Anthony Henday Edmonton, getting impatient since it was traffic jam and driving on shoulder, only to get karma back and run off the road by a truck.

For some reason I had a feeling something was gonna come off the back of that truck as soon as I saw the way the guy was driving... so in a way I was ready lol. Also, I was in my Audi - no way I would let anything happen to it!

I will try pointing the dash-cam a bit higher. It is a Blackvue DR600GW and set at 1080p 30fps.

Awesome! Glad to hear! It can be a real pain in the ass to get working on some vehicles depending on the dash/slant of windshield...

I had such a hard time with mine... My cam would focus on the reflection of the dash in the glass, and on top of that I had to manually set the brightness.

If you find the sweet spot, REMEMBER IT!

I don't actually have a license plate number, but pretty obviously the guy in the black car tried to U-turn where it's illegal..
