Since you have some inside knowledge in this case, I am wondering, is the fact the dude is jaywalking, crossing against the light, and not in the crosswalk being mentioned? Does it have any bearing on the case?

It sure will have significant bearing on the case, in more ways than one. Both on criminal and civil standards. But don't ask me to get into how as I am working this weekend and don't have the time.

Yah, I also don't like when audio is killed but in this case, I was talking to a passenger and didn't want the conversation out there. The crash was quite loud. Audible gasps and 'holy shits' were abundant post impact. Everyone was ok.

Chick that hit the blue SUV was suspected drunk. She just plowed into them. Didn't even brake. Saw it coming at the last moment.

I did a bunch of testing with a gopro mount on a drive out to the mountains. Put all the footage on youtube as private/unlisted videos. Every single one was flagged and taken down for DCMA, with zero views, and no one _could_ view them.
