Default Two get nabbed going over 200...In Dodge Calibers

Two Calgarians are facing serious charges after RCMP in High River pulled over two vehicles for excessive speeding.

Two Dodge Calibers were pulled over around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, just south of the town. The vehicles were clocked on radar going more than 200 km/h in a 80 km/h speed zone.

Each of the drivers have ordered to appear in court in October.

RCMP say the incident serves as a reminder about the dangers of speeding, and that they will be out in full force over the Labour Day long weekend targeting speeders and aggressive drivers.

    Thoughts?

So many more suitable roads in this area to open up on....This is one of the most patrolled secondaires in the area in my opinion.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

haha, yeah, I don't think regular Caliber is capable of those speeds....I hope not anyway.

Side note: I own an SRT neon, but I would say quite a few were crashed. I have seen/heard of a few totaled within months of ownership

Hahaha, word. I do some pretty crazy speeds on my bike at times when no one is around on the highways.

My biggest worry is coming across the men in blue while doing it.

This is actually a reminder that you can be going 200kms/h side by side in an 80 zone and come to a complete stop without harming anyone and with complete control of your vehicle.

It doesn't take much in a slippery car. I've done 200 in a stock Grand Am, stock Impreza sport, and an '81 or so stock Nissan turbo car with golf kart sized tires.
