I enjoyed it from a purely entertainment pov. Although, I
agree with previous posters re: deviating from the original
formula too much..it's more of a straight up action series with
some wicked cars thrown in now. I don't think they popped the
hood on anything which sucked!

And that crazy go-cart thing was def LSx powered..I saw the damn
intake manifold!!....and yet it sounded like a damn koenigsegg or
something

Loved the hell out of it!

The stunts are about as over-the-top as usual but still the movie even pokes fun at itself and doesn't take it seriously. The type you really need to just watch for the action and every damn one liner Vin Diesel says. Every scene is setup to make him look as cool as possible. Pretty funny parts thrown in as well.

And lol I was thinking of the same thing Ladyluck mentioned.

The series finally threw in some F1 car as well. Guess the only thing they haven't done now is like Rally racing.
