The temp gauge goes haywire once and a while. It bounces around like mad, the temp sensor has been changed, but it still does it. Don't worry though, it hasn't overheated. it also has some shit ass speakers, and the sun visor likes to get in your face. That's all I can think of.

I had a Laser that used to do that too - I knew something was wrong when I started the car in -30 and it said the car was overheating.

I never traced it down either (Didn't really bother me) as it seemed to jump back to normal right away.
