Noticed a bunch of small holes in my awning near where it attaches to the trailer. Easily repairable?

Going to drill a couple holes in the bottom of my battery box tomorrow. Damn thing has a suprising amount of water and dirt in there

I don’t own an RV. But any time I have used someone else’s the rule has been hard no on toilet usage. Sometimes #1 ok but never 2.

Take a walk to the outhouse or piss in the woods.

    Seems fair to me.
This is always confused me, spend tens of thousands on a trailer and then go sit in a dirty outhouse. It’s like taking your trailer camping and then sleeping outside in a tent

I let others shit in my trailer, I just truly prefer outhouse. Is that weird?

Makes me wonder what kind of creep setup ES has in his RV thrown.

Depends on how much a waterproof HD camera adds to the tongue weight

Does anyone that tows have that around view sensor technology on their vehicle that alerts you every single time you slow down or stop because it detects your trailer is there and it must mistake it for a collision object?

Mine is smart enough to not do it when a trailer is hooked up. Blind spot sensor still works though which is nice.

Everyone knows that weight on the poop deck doesn’t add to tongueweight.

My bathroom is at the very back, so the more I shit, the lighter the tongue weight gets.

Le sigh. Battery kicked open its own door open to get some fresh air while I was driving. Then decided to jump out of the compartment for fun. Fortunately no one hit it, and a nice old guy picked it up for me and chased me down at the gas station to return it.

Thankfully it didn't (kill someone or start leaking). It seems pretty intact. You can tell it didn't drag too far before the cables snapped. I'm going to put it on the house charger, in the firepit, when it's not so hot outside.

I only need it for two more trips this year, as the plan for this winter was to convert to 6v and relocate the batteries to inside the trailer, with ventilated boxes.

AGM if inside the trailer would be my suggestion.

@Tik-Tok if indeed your road-rashed battery turns out to be pooched I have an old Nautilus Group 24 that you are welcome to. Probably only 15-20-ish amp-hours of reliable capacity though. If it gets you through your last few trips for the season, great.

Any recommendations on a place to wash my trailer (its got transmission fluid and dead bugs all over the front of it)

I also have a 60ah 12v you can have and you can also borrow the 3x solar panel setup to charge them.

If you’re in the SE, Great White has truck bays that are great. But really any wand wash that has decent size bays will work

Can your trailer interior lights be replaced with leds - as in a straight swap or does this require more thought?

Pull out the bulb, note the bulb type/number, but that type on Amazon or elsewhere. Easy peasy.
