And I can run my AC on my Honda 2200. The MicroAir Easy Start is a big help. Expensive though.

Yeah, my propane starting watts is 1800, and 1440 running, and my AC works just fine. It's only 13,500btu, but still.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

No dual AC (It's a small trailer: https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/trave...-pup/16FQ/1332). I did some diagnosis last night.

Attempt 1: Unplugged mini fridge and turned off breaker to 12v interior fridge. Started generator and attempted putting AC unit to low and it overloaded under a minute.

Attempt 2: This time I put the AC unit on low fan instead of low cool for 5 minutes. Then switched to low cool and took about 20 minutes until it overloaded.

Attempt 3: Turned off the 12v converter breaker as well. Overloaded in about 15 minutes.
Are you using the 30 amp RV plug on the generator or one of the 110v 15a household plugs with an adapter?

I use these wheel chocks. Watch for them to go on sale. Princess Auto is pretty good for that.

I use the Andersen levellers at campsites. So great. Chunk of 2x4 at storage or for the other side. The plastic kind has skidded on me a few times. The rubber looks good though.

I’m worried @ExtraSlow is going to get bored of Internet forums now that his trailer is gone

X-chock is good, but takes more time and effort than I'm willing to spend for just parking at storage yard.

I just use wood at the storage yard, if someone steals a piece of wood I don’t care.

My trailer is not that old but the gel coat was looking like shit. Heavy oxidation, went over it 3 times with a power polisher just to get it looking ok. All the white decals along the side still look terrible and I couldn't figure out how to Name: FB_IMG_1627258158811.jpg

I really dig the floorplan for 2 people, but electric-only fridge? Is that a common thing? Seems like you'd need exclusively powered sites just to run the fridge for more than a day or two sans generator.

Never seen that on a smaller trailer, but not surprised. Lotta folks just do powered sites. Some of the big fifth wheels have 120v residential fridges these days.
Could turn fridge off for a few hours while running AC. It'll stay plenty cold if you leave the door closed.
But yeah, plan on running genny daily to keep batteries topped up, or having a serious solar setup.

Forest rover makes some great floor plans.

Wtf is with people driving in BC.. they do 80km/hr then hit a passing lane comes and they want to do 140 km/hr and then the passing lane ends and they slam on their brakes and do 80km/hr again.

I just want to drive 100-105 km / hr and can’t pass these Fawks…..

It’s fucking ridiculous out there, I found I have to do 10-20 over in the slow parts and 150+ at every possible passing opportunity to make any sort of decent average speed and progress.

It's even the fucking semis, they dawdle along until they get to the passing area and then they floor it. Infuriating.
