Allowing green trees to be cut by joe public with zero fee is pretty freaking dumb when there was no issue with just allowing standing/down dead for the past forever. Not sure why they’d want to add potential conflict that’s easily avoided.

If you look for firewood near popular crown land camping areas, the easily reached forest is actually combed through pretty thoroughly. Not as easy as one would think. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Big disagree on that one. I filled my truck in July right at forest boundary next to the fallentimber random camping zoo. 3/4 of the wood was downed and left by someone else, bucked and limbed.. that had happened every time I’ve gone looking for wood and I’ve never had to down a tree as people always cut more then they need.
Lots of standing dead still around if you’re willing to walk 3 minutes into the woods.
Need thread split as this is getting spicier than cut cocks!
Good call let's move it over here: https://forums.beyond.ca/threads/416...READ?p=5080446
Yeah no, just look at satellite of McLean, fields of de-limbed trees that have been left by commercial logging activities right off the roadThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Working on buy a new trailer for this summer. I will also be buying the Torklift Stableload system, or the USA Amazon knockoff version before the summer towing season. Stiffer truck suspension is something I think will help a lot, even when I stay within my trucks payload ratings. I think @Brent.ff has these for his truck.
Have realized that in the used trailer market, the heavier the trailer, the cheaper it becomes. I mean, I don't plan on going far this year, so whatever, but still......

2 trucks, one trailer. Get there twice as fast.
Any recommendation for camping in Okanogan this summer. Looking to rent RV and spend a couple weeks by the water if thats possible? I would assume this books up really quick.
Better idea. Rent a house without wheels

Just a reminder that as of today you have to create a new Parks Canada account for reservations through them. Actual reservations don't start until March 13th though
