    Couple more questions.

Anyone know where I get this type of connector?

And how or can anyone drill a hole through this 3/8” thick steel?

I believe if you search for "Banana Plug" you'll be in business.
That doesn't look anywhere near 3/8" thick but get some fresh dill bits (for metal) and go to town.

Alright I will try a beefier drill bit. I swear that only my trailer uses speaker connectors in its electrical system. Everything is using it all the connections (3 outlets), the charger which was pictured, the solar panels as well.

Yup, banana plug for the connector.

To drill the tubing, use a center punch, a pilot hole with a small drill bit then drill with your final size. Make sure the bit is sharp and you run about half speed.

Anyone else with one of these door handles:

Ours doesn't want to do anything but have the little opening button stick. Have torn it apart and done a full clean and regrease but still fighting it.
    help?

The hole size in the door seems pretty standard these days. Perhaps upgrade to the newer style?

If you can (and the wallet allows) get the one with the pin pad. My new 5er has it, and it has been immensely helpful.

Anyone know anything about slides? I have the lippert/schwintek "in-wall" system and we have to put it in "manual" mode to extend or retract it. Doesn't seem to be binding anywhere, but clearly something is tripping a sensor when it's in auto mode.

Camping pet peeve: LED lights on new trailer/RV awnings. Talk about wrecking the camping ambience for everyone around you. Might as well be fucking floodlights.

Well, booked myself into woodys, but the next appointment is July 31st. May see about taking it elsewhere if I can get in earlier. Anyone have thoughts on the "in-wall" slide systems?

So the RV manufacturers haven't figured out that there are different types of LED's or they just do it their way?
    Will fuck off, again.

RV manufacturers generally don't give a fuck what works best, or best suits the desires of thier customers. They want what is cheap and quick to build and looks fancy in a brochure. Kinda like big homebuilders actually.

Understood but can a RV owner change them out easily?

Im sure they could if they wanted, but the particular complaint I was making, were both rentals. One family from Israel, and one from Germany. Neither knew jack shit about camping, or how to use a RV.

Considering most rv owners use thier rigs 10 days a year or fewer, modifications are not high on the list. I'm sure it's not rocket science to change out the LED's.

Also, put on my rona-tech dump valve handles. They feel strong, hope they last a few seasons.

So figured out that my homemade dump valve handles were jamming on the handle attachment thingy and weren't quiiiite sealing. Of course, took me a couple golden showers at the dump station to figure it out. I'm a slow learner. Took all three off, drilled out the screw hole, reattached and hopefully now when I pull off the cap, there won't be a wall of pissis waiting for me.

I'll post a summary of my big BC trip shortly.

Well we used the thermacell devices all weekend in dinosaur park and I would say that they work but they don’t do the 4.5m radius as advertised on the box. I would say it would be about 2m maybe. Although there weren’t a tonne of mosquitos I only sustained one bite all weekend.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.
