Well if you insist here's a couple more. If you could get both of these generators at the same price which one would you get?
If you want an inbetween one, I still haven't returned this one yet, because of Costco lineups.

    https://www.costco.ca/firman-3200w-p...100490052.html

I got it on sale and delivered for $840, you can have it for that price. Seems like a good unit, but as I said earlier, it's too big to store where I want it.

Does anyone know if barrier lake visitors center has a water fill up station? I know that it has a sani dump but most interested if it has fresh water as well?

I would call them however provincial website listing them closed.

I believe all of the k-country dump stations also have fresh drinking water. However I do not know the current status of these facilities.

Not sure if this was posted but looks like all the fire bans are essentially off province wide.

I think we might of discussed this last year but is one regular sized propane tank enough for a 5 night camping trip, if you are taking quick showers and only heating the hot water when you need it? I kind of wish my unit hitch came with a option of having two tanks however I’m a bit wary of hitch weight. I guess I could put one in the trunk too.

I have previously estimated that my family uses ~1lb of propane per day for cooking and heating. A "20 lb" propane tank has around 16 lbs of useable fuel.

Clearly the amount of water you are heating, how cold it is outside, and how much you cook changes that consumption.
Still, seems like one full 20 lb tank would last 5 nights.

I've got two 30# bottles which lasted the entire summer of trips. Hot water tank on all the time, furnace used several times, BBQ on every day. We didn't use it sparingly at all.

So one 20# tank should definitely last 5 nights, as long as it's not leaking, and your appliances are working properly.

Barrier is closed this year, no? It was on the UCP list of 'Optimizing Parks' as being closed.

I'd assume Alberta Parks would answer this question if you phoned the main line.

I bought one of the little ones (https://www.firmanpowerequipment.com...verter-w01782/) as Lowes had a wicked price on them. I'm going to try to avoid using it as apparently these (https://www.costco.ca/firman-w03081-...100323499.html) go on sale at Costco every now and again for $600.

    Good idea, and I did.

They lady just called me back and said that even though she told me it would be open, it isnt and the closest free for use one would be "willow rock campground" in bow valley park.

Does anyone have any pictures of there dual 6v setup? Is it better to get one of these boxes that accommodates two 6v batteries?

You can just use two boxes, those all have room for wire to enter and exit. When I was buying, the "noco snap top box 6V" was cheapest on amazon, although it's available locally.
I've since tidied up the wires, this was from the day I installed on my current trailer in 2018.

I like to install a "true" battery disconnect too, like these:

It's a short-bus for sure, but it's got a lot of features, and weight. She's a full 7500 lbs going down the road.

Looking at a trailer and have a question about axle spacing. Is it true that towing a trailer with wider spacing between the axles is better than towing a trailer with narrower axles?
