As someone who bought the Honda, I can confirm it's not the value leader.

To the Honda's advantage, it's probably the quietest for the output plus has the best resale.

I’ve actually been looking at those! Might meet my perfect level of interesting and capability.

Wasn’t the most recent one a quad turbo?

It's usually the starting up that's the issue.
i agree, i have the 3000 Yamaha and i have to turn off everything that draws power in the trailer so it does not trip the breaker..

once going i can run almost everything...

I've got that one. I love not having to carry gasoline. I would not recommend it to someone who wants to run their AC all day. It isn't as noisy as some, but definitely not Honda/Yamaha quiet.

Edit: I forgot I returned that one because it was way too heavy/noisy, and got a Champion 1800/2000 dual fuel. It actually runsy AC no problem, but I still wouldnt leave it on all day.
Did you return it because of noise or weight more? I'm about to buy this but not sure if I should. Trying to find something for 1k or less.

Weight and size more than noise, but the Champion is noticeably quieter. I figured I didn't really need 3000 watts either as I was never planning on using AC without hookups. When the Champion ended up being able to run my AC (and on propane which is less power), I was very pleasantly surprised.

Good to hear. I was sure the Champion 2000w could do it. In my situation I just think I need some help with the AC starting up. I still think an EasyStart system could be the easiest and cheapest solution for me to run the AC a few days a season. Really didn't want to store a second generator for the 2 trips a year that we would consider AC.

The dual fuel from costco seems like a better deal to me.

The Champion 2000w dual fuel should be back at Costco soon if you can wait.

So last year I put some new scissor jacks on my trailer and I just used the screws that came with it. I went and picked up the trailer today and one of the screws on one jack had rusted off and one of the jacks fell straight off with the two screws exhibiting the same thing. I would of thought the screws would not rust at all.

Anyone want to make some cash welding these to my frame?

Ordered the costco Firman. I'll test it out at Sibbald next weekend if it shows up in time. Decided to try it just because it's so easy return.

You could try replacing these with bolts instead.

So drill all the way through the frame? I don’t think that’s possible because the trailer body sits against the top of the frame and the bolts would be able to be tightened at the top. The previous factory jacks also just had screws that went into the frame and not bolts.

Yeah, I returned mine after a couple of trips too. As soon as I saw the Champion 2kw on sale, I returned it, lol.

Anyone want a set of solar panels? Got these from nzwasp a while back. Cabela's brand, 3 panels each 1 foot x 3 foot. Comes in a carry bag with Styrofoam to protect from bumps. Well used, long cables to attach to battery terminals. I think they are 60w total? They aren't marked, but charge controller says 7.2A, so output must be less than that.
First dibs to @Andy643 if he buys my easy start. Everyone else can have them for a six pack of tall boys.

Do you have a link to the Champion one you bought (or the model #)? Doesn't have to be Costco link but looking to read up on it.
