Holy fuck these last couple of posts hit sooo close to home…

The best one is when the truck and trailer are jack knifed and they expect the you can back straight up on command …

I think the pull through was invented by a married man ….

Anyone here using crossbars on your RVs/trailers?

I've been wanting to put a set on my teardrop so I can mount my cargo box on it for extra camping storage and I think the easiest way may be to get a set of artificial rain gutters:
    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0002MBP82

and adding a set of rain gutter footed crossbars since they are more "universal" (ie: not vehicle specific). At first I was thinking of getting a cheap crossbar like these:
    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0002MABL4/
    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B019DP6UG0/

But reading the reviews and these sound like they rust pretty easy, so maybe spending a little extra and getting a Thule aluminum set is the way to go for longevity. Added bonus of going this way is I can re-use them on my Jeep or my next trailer down the line.

    Does anyone have other suggestions?

Yakima makes/made a similar setup for their old Q towers. They might have a similar setup for their newer systems too.

I don't have a need for adding crossbars to my trailer, so I can't comment. The only thing I'd be concerned about would be ensuring the mounts are anchored into something solid and sealed to prevent leaking.

The Thule artificial gutters are cheaper and they can be side or top mounted.

If you do and you're selling them, I'd be interested in them.
