Figure it heard me? Does it have an account on beyond? Are you my trailers alt?
I'm just projecting. Every vehicle I've ever decided to sell has had something go wrong within a week of that decision.

Dropped it off for slide repair.
Hobo is way backed up, like everyone else, so they didn't get my trailer inspected and begin diagnosis until today. Sounds like the issue is that the slide motor was installed wrong, with a screw through the body of it, and that screw caused an electrical short. That screw prevents it being removed by normal procedure, and also prevents slide from being pushed out manually. So they are going to hammer the fuck out of it until something breaks, then manually extend, then replace motor and repair whatever broke.
I'm very much grumpy cat about this.

hard-sided trailer less susceptible to cosmetic hail damage.

Anyone using any special software for backroads/ATV trail maps? We've been using BRMB Maps from the App Store and it's ok. Just wondering if we're missing some better software.

So basically your trailer is Homer's brain with a crayon.

If that's the case, should ES even bother removing the said crayon?

This thread just reminded me I need to hit up all the RV parts stores in town for a replacement stabilizer jack I bent.
I can't find anything online that looks like the one I have.
From the looks of it, it's the standard one that came with the trailer when it was purchased in 1999.

    About right.

Stabilizer jack, should be able to use a different brand or part number, usually.

Stopped by Hobo today, they were the only local ones who had the part I needed. 30% off too because it had been special ordered, but sitting and collecting dust for 6 years, lol. Decent of them.

Hobo are good guys. Sometimes cheaper than online too. Always worth a visit.

Selling a trailer is a singular pain in the rear. Way way way worse than selling cars. So many tire kickers and you have to drive an hour round trip to meet them at the storage lot.

After one year of being official Beyond trailer trash™; we're stepping back to tent city hobo lyfe. New owner picks it up today.

Top tip, the schwintek in-wall slides are trash in design and execution and should be avoided. Don't let anyone tell ya different. In related news I have my trailer back from Hobo, and I'll be extending my target retirement age to pay for it. Yikes.
