I took it to the hitchshop this morning and it indeed did not have any wiring for a brake controller (disappointing), so its now costing me $400 to get it wired and installed today. Hoping to pickup our new trailer tonight, and park it on the driveway for the next few days until we go camping on thursday morning. The neighbor around the corner seems to have the exact same trailer parked on his driveway all summer long.

I also need to get a couple of those curb ramps to get up on to my driveway.

The other thing highlanders dont have that toyota 4runners and tundra's seem to have is a nice model fitted towing mirrors, I had to buy those ratchet ones. So this trailer comes with "sway bars" but the owner said that you need to play with how loose or tight they are depending on your driving style, I would of thought sway bars would be just a solid piece of metal - and these things mount underneath and come with some special hitch, which makes me think its more of a WD hitch / sway combo. He also had mounted a brake cable (dead man switch) to his brakes so that if the chains fail to the car and the wire gets pulled taut then the electric brakes would come on. However he said this could be dangerous if something made the cable come taut with the chains on, like a tight turn. Do you guys have this?

Failsafe brake switch is mandatory for any trailer over 2000 lbs. Definitely a good thing to have, and I've never heard of one failing while driving. Just make sure the cable is long enough that it won't pull out during a tight turn if it gets caught on something. Mine is as long as my chains.

should it hang down with the chains or up above with everything?

I've got mine loosely zip tied to a chain, so it hangs with it. Also so I don't forget to clip it to my receiver.

Im unsure why bolers are so sought after versus buying a new egg style camper. My Boler is 44 years old and I posted it on kijiji and hour ago and it already has two people wanting it.

100% hipsters. Plus they are pretty much perfect for a DINK couple. I want a camper that just has a bed, equivelant storage to my tent trailer, and toilet for the wife. Need virtually nothing else, but most trailers are overkill.

My wife and I often talk about what kind of trailer or camper we'd want if it was just us and no kids. There are so many good options for two adults from smaller sprinter-style motorhomes to truck campers to the little trailers. All have pros and cons. Once you want to sleep a family of four inside without breaking down the dining table, your starting to look at "full size" trailers and it can get out of hand pretty fast. I never looked seriously at the "hybrid" trailers, where they have beds at each end that come out like a tent trailer, but the main "box" is full height. They seem pretty efficient.

that's what we had as our previous trailer for 5 years, they're great on a budget, but you sacrifice a lot of storage space by not having under bed storage, and it's a fair amount of setup/teardown, not quite as much as a tent trailer, but still more than we wanted to do so we upgraded to a hardwall

Ended up getting one of these installed: https://www.etrailer.com/Brake-Contr...sha/90885.html. Hoping I can unplug it outside of camping season because it sure is installed in an annoying spot.

TLDR all the previous posts...but where can I find plumbing for our trailers? The pipe in my bathroom sink cracked at the drain right under the sink so it leaks, need to replace the pipe that has the beveled edges that seats itself in the drain of the sink. Are they all universal sized? like I mean most trailers use the same size pipes?

    TIA

Yup drain size, haven't measured but looks like 1 1/2 to just under 2in in diameter? Trailer is at storage so I keep forgetting to check...

Waste should be standard plumbing sizes. Fresh is standard pex.

Anyone who needs a Camp Chef stove, they have the 2 burner version at Princess Auto on sale right now.

Also the Camco Max Air vent covers too. I hear these are worth installing to allow vents to stay open while driving. Anyone know how hard these are to install?

I can’t take very good inside photos with the slide in until I get it on my driveway.

Hooked up the sway bars and I didn’t see it swaying on the setting I had it on I did feel it pulling side to side a little bit. Also had to crank up the brake controller to setting 8.5/12 with this prodigy p2 because setting 6 had the rv pushing me a bit.

That's the normal price. It's just a "hot buy".

they're easy, you have to drill 4 holes in the frame of your existing vent to attach them to, its the first mod i do on any trailer, more important than allowing you to leave the vent open is that these are hail proof and will save you a lot of water damage if you do get your vent covers shattered by hail.
