The hill by my place seems to collect people 'cheating' or forgetting to turn it off with the number of people that drive down to Mallard Point to start their bike ride

pretty sure this guy forgot to turn his strava off, 53 km/hr (faster then the speed limit) up that hill..
She obviously drove to the parking lot, then forgot to turn strava off when she drove home after

Had the same thing happen with someone taking my KOM up in Canmore on spray lakes road. He went fatbiking and left his garmin running while he drove to another location. I reported the ride and immediately got my KOM back.
I think either strava or garmin will pop up with a warning that says something like "It looks like at least part of this ride was done in a vehicle". I've seen it once before when I forgot to turn off my garmin.

Click on the wrench button on the left hand side of the ride page. Some people take things way too seriously lol
Go to the ride on your computer, hit the little wrench on the left, hit 'flag'This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does it tell you if someone takes your kom? Cause this happened right afterThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yes, strava will send you a notification when you lose your KOM.
It must be that "yourex" guy that reported it then. I'm sure most of you have seen him aroundThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

ha thats kinda funny, get your KOM stolen, report it and hope that they don't say it was legit
For those using Strava, how would you make it so only followers can view your activities? It seems like if I switch it to private then no one can see the ride? Also when you put a ride private, will it count towards your total ride kilometers? Really I am just wanting to share my rides with friends , and not all the random people.
For those of you getting KOM's. Do you know where the segment is and push to get the KOM or is it just part of your ride that you happen to crush?
I know where all my segments are now on my commute. Definitely crush mode for when trying for them... was going for one this morning till an offleash dog ruined it
that's one thing I like about Strava, it challenges you to push harder and see how you fare against your own time or others. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I don't go all out on all of them, only some that I want to beat and if it's crowded or headwind, then forget it.
Just did my first day of the dolomites trip. Wow is all that I can say. This place is just beauuutiful. The hotel is super awesome.
