    Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ 400 turbo kit runs [email protected]

    Accelerated Performance FRS / BRZ turbo package runs a world record 1/4 mile time of 11.3 @ 127.4 MPH. The engine / transmission is stock other than the bolt on FRS / BRZ 400 package.

    Seems a bit unbelievable. That has to be 400whp+. Any more info?

    I think the 400 is the pump gas rating. It ran on E85, 20psi, 440whp.

    I can't figure out how this setup is plumbed. It's a rear mounted setup:



    But the air filter is at the front?



    Wouldn't the air filter be at the back where the turbo is?

    ^^ Rage, looks front mounted to me, just backside of the engine... If you look to the left hand side in the first pic you can see pulleys in the engine bay... Looks like that to me.

    haha fuck I feel like an idiot. I was paying attention to the gearbox, and for some reason thought the BRZ had a rear transaxle setup and assumed that the gearbox was in the rear.
