My last hurrah before turning 30 is coming up at the end of the month. Not quite sure where the good spots to go out to are anymore.
I loved going to Classic Jacks on Saturdays because of the music, but since that's closed I'm open to suggestions.

What kind of music and crowd are you after? How many people? With food? Sit down or party up?
have you considered shakers or chuck-e-cheese?

Shakers is fun, about 25 each for a full day pass and you get access to gokarts, lasertag, indoor playground, etc.

^ I played golf with the owner of that place not long ago, he said their fully licensed.
So yes they do serve alcohol.

Never seen that many DBs in there. Just great wings and the largest concentration of black chicks in Calgary.Originally posted by ercchry

CJ wings are so bad now. A lot of them are small, dry and some of them are deformed rejects in more than a couple occasions.Originally posted by Feruk

Rather eat Hudson's wings.
Btw, I found it hilarious picturing a 30 year old at Chuckie Cheese
Suggestion-wise, dunno, maybe TYN Lounge? They have nights where they have music, plus the food isn't bad at all when I last tried it.

They hold birthday parties as you can see on their site and seems to be a good venue for what you are looking for.

Book a reso at 1410? or try and go early and hit up a patio spot and head downstairs when it closes at like 12-1230.
I find that place is one of the busier/better ones on 17th the last bit.
That or national is a pretty hot spot. Once again go early.
Those would be my two suggestions for a fun/busier place that isn't full of 18 year olds. But if you want 18 year olds... go to roaddie
Ruckers.
V Lounge on Saturday's! Music is hype!
What a life.
Now that you're 30 you have to go to the Met with the rest of the people our age.
Bonus points if you show up with pants about 1" too short and go alone to stand on the edge of the dance floor all night.
