Help me manage my email

As I'm sure most of us do, I have several different email addresses that I use for various purposes. All of them (4) are pushed to my phone. My Shaw and business (3rd party server) emails are managed through entourage or outlook depending which device I'm on.

So here's the problem. I'm running an iPhone, MacBook, and desktop PC and am having to deal with each email 3 times; once on each device. Is there a method by which I can file or delete an email and have it mirrored on all devices? It's frustrating due to the volume as I sometimes deal with 200 emails/day and it gets pretty tedious having to repeatedly deal with them.

I've been recommended to try the Apple MobileMe service but that did not address my issue.

if the email service provider supports IMAP then this is what you would most liky want to use for multi computers accessing one email account.

Ya, or you could choose not to leave a copy on the server so once it's pulled down to one device, it doesn't go to any other devices.

Def go IMAP - Shaw is a bit of a hit-and-miss to having it work right however - it depends on what account (business or res) you have with them. I tell most of my Shaw clients to switch to gmail or something else (ymail) that supports IMAP implicitly.

I also switched from outlook to thunderbird because of its simple - unified - email interface. I have 4 email accounts and I have it setup to see ONE inbox on my phone, desktop and laptop.

Yep - set them up as imap or exchange (hotmail and gmail do this) instead of pop3.

Also as a side note, try and find an application which supports the push protocol of P-IMAP so your mail gets pushed out to you instead of having to constantly be checking for new emails. It'll save your battery.
