Taking a shower/bath at night or morning? Does race matter???

Just having some discussion with race and correlation between showering/bathing first thing in the morning, or taking it at the end of the night after a long (DIRTY) day.

Why is it that Asian people take their showers/bath at night, while most Caucasian (and others) likes to take theirs in the morning?

I always get one in the morning before work. I find a nice refreshing shower wakes me up better then coffee, especially since i wake up at 5~ to be at work for 7. That and i usually feel sweaty and gross. I find if i dont shower in the morning before work i feel gross by the end of the day.

I usually gym in evening so shower after that. But after a night working the bar I crash right when I get home and shower in the morning.

Evening -95% of the time.

Usually I'm a 3 shower a day kinda guy.

Ah I've had this discussion before. GF thinks its disgusting when I take it at night instead of morning. Alot of people think the same way.

To me it doesn't make much sense because you get dirty all day, go home and jump into bed?
Maybe in hot climates you would generally sweat at night but here we have cool weather so you don't sweat when you sleep. Plus I always wake up pretty late so no time therefore I take it at night.

But it does wake you up alot in the mornings so good for days you feel really tired out of bed.

White and morning.... I feel so dirty at work if I shower at night. Plus like others have said it wakes you up.

Also isnt it bad for your skin to shower more then once a day. Dont you wash off natural oils. Especially here in Calgary with our hard water.

Another whitie. When on shift, I shower in the morning(gym or help wake up) and shower in the evening before settling down for the night. At home I shower in the morning only, unless the day dictates otherwise.

I do both most days, but if I drop one, it is the night one. No way I am walking around with bed head all day like the mainlanders I see at work... lol

Whitey. I shower in the morning as I find it helps me wake up. But if I get pretty dirty or get a good sweat on I shower any time.

Depends.

a) What time I start work. If I'm waking up at 6 am, then I'm going to shower at night. I'm the type who likes to take long showers so showering at night lets me sleep in extra. I also get breakfest at work too, all in the name of extra sleep.

b) My hair. If it's getting longer (usually buzzed) and starts to look stupid when I wake up, I will shower in the morning. This is usually proceeded by cutting it within a couple of days.

I value sleep over everything.

Asian. Both. I do it for acne reasons. If I skip one, it virtually guarantees that I'm going to get a good zit in the next few days.

when I didn't have an AC so my room was crazy hot at night I would shower morning & night. now that its cool and I don't sweat when I sleep, night all the time. keeps your sheets fresher longer
