Is there any cards out there that let's you pay your mortgage on your cc? Someone was saying this at the table beside me at dinner yesterday

It's your mortgage holder that dictates that, not the CC company.

I think that only works if you buy visa gift cards first

Good to know, thank you. I'll inquire as I'm applying for a refinance here shortly

Took the plunge and got the Amex platinum too
    Budgetballer things lol
100k points sign up, $799 fee but 200 yearly travel credit and 200 dining credit knocks it down by half
The points itself worth about $2k aeroplan value so that’s nice
Hopefully don’t have to use the travel insurance, heard the lounges are hit and miss but hopefully can try one for some freebies and hotel upgrades - mister boost we have upgraded you to blah blah or not

This card is strictly just for travel as the cobalt blows it out of the water in terms of accumulating points.

    Just sharing.
They made some slight tweaks to the lounge type you can access but it’s still a good card if you travel frequently!

If they do, you're paying for it one way or another. There's no way an institution would take on that level of fees just because.

    Is the card metal?
I only use metal cards now. Keep in my front coat pocket in front of my heart. Just in case someone tries to assaainate me with a direct shot to my most vital organ. Iykyk.

I've been using the Rogers WE Mastercard as my base card for a couple years. Any time I'm not trying to earn welcome bonus for churning or specialty cases where some of my other cards get 3% cash back, I'll use the Rogers WE.

New change starting in April will make it 2% cashback on everything if you have a Rogers/Fido service and if you redeem that cashback on a Rogers/Fido service it is multiplied by 1.5x (so you get 3% back). It's also 3% cashback on USD (so actually 3% * 1.5x - 2.5%FX = 2% net). Usual World Elite benefits plus 5 free Roam like Home days per year.

There was $15k min spend per year, but I'm not sure if they actually every demoted anyone who didn't spend that. New changes remove that requirement.
