I learned that Expedia for TD is trash so I ditched their First Class Travel visa for their cash back visa infinite as it works out to be the same in regard to what the FCT was offering in points multipliers for grocery/restaurants and now I get 3% back on gas as well.

I dropped the Scotia Visa Passport and their Scotia gold Amex a few months ago as I get the TD card for free and am just rolling with the Rogers World Elite mastercard for Costco, random purchases and to negate USD FX fee. Decent card for 1.5% cash back and no yearly fee.

Seems like the Rogers Connections card could be a decent card once the Shaw buyout is complete, if you have 2 Rogers services you will get 2% cash back on all purchases and no yearly fee - https://rogersbank.com/legaldocs/en/..._changeinterms

aka if you have Shaw home internet or tv and are on Shaw mobile you'd be applicable. I'll still roll with their World Elite for full USD FX fee negation.

Went from $270 in yearly annual fees between the 2 Scotia cards to $0 yearly fees for 2 good cash back cards.

Expect a further reduction in rewards programs due to this:

Great news for retailers though. Doubt they will pass the card fee savings on to customers.

This will get Suncor 17% more fuel sold at retail and their stock goes down...

it was always going to happen, but I'm going to talk myself into this program. Then I'll grumble when I want to shop online, which is usually. It's going to be so emo.
Paid for the membership today with one transaction. 10x normal instore boost, 20x brand boost, and the annual 20x top up on a $657 purchase. Plus there was a $40 spend and get as well. Be about $190 back on that one. I guess not all of that is only because of the select, but most of it was.
