There's no evidence that the lounge is staffed largely by persons of Romani descent.
That's because of the tyrannical patriarchy.
    We need quotas.

I know with plaza premoium lately they have been stamping the back of my receipt with # of alcoholic drinks. Something like 4 per visit. I dont recall them doing that before. Possibly something to do with how westjet reimburses them.

I agree many of the plaza premium lounges are shit. On my recent flight out of yvr to hawaii, I brought the wife and kid into the plaza lounge. Extremely loud, super crowded, and when I went to the bar to get a drink the bartender literally brought a tip glass with him and plopped it down on the counter in front of me when I ordered. It was very off putting. Didnt tip him shit.

That's why I love the permanent no tipping sign on the wall behind the bar at the Maple Leaf Lounge in YYC - would love to see more of them. I left a Winnipeg Transit ticket (worth ~$3) in a tip jar at the Plaza Premium Lounge in YWG a few months ago. That Plaza Premium Lounge was surprisingly decent, but it's in Winnipeg (kind of like DTW shockingly being one of the better airports in the USA even though it's Detroit )

Did they spit in your drink or something? Why on earth would you tip someone a transit ticket haha

I had one extra one and I wasn't going to be in Winnipeg again for some time (unlike Calgary Transit tickets Winnipeg ones expire every year) - plus I figured that since there's transit service directly to/from the airport, it would more likely be used by front-line staff than some unseen manager.

She’s suggesting Maui in July. She’s been 4x and wants to show me around. She mentioned it’s low season and tickets only around $500 so I don’t think companion pass will yield big savings off top of my head. I haven’t verified it yet since she wants to plan this one. She did mention she’s gonna ask for her friend first to see if he can get us buddy passes so potentially it may become super cheap. I mentioned that kind of request usually requires a physical sacrifice in my world but she said no no it’s not like that lol

Got my companion pass too but still no welcome bonus WJ dollars. I haven’t spent 5k yet so not expecting the second bonus, but would be nice to get the first one. I’m way overdue for a beach vacation

Edit: nm, just saw the $250 deposited today! Sweet

Log in to WestJet rewards online, and look at your account. There's a section for vouchers, where you'll see it.

Thanks, not there yet, so maybe needs to go through a billing cycle first.

    Another Triangle WE plug.

Bought $200 worth of jeans from Marks and received $72 back in reward dollars by stacking a million offers.
    Best card ever.
