Bank to Bank Transfer how long?

I'm expecting a transfer that was sent out this morning by another and just wondering how long it takes to be posted to my account? It is time sensitive. Thanks.

Unfortunately the times range from a few minutes to several days. On average, it takes a few hours for a wire transfer to show up in my experience. If its an EMT, probably still a few hours.

^^ Yup. When I have used them I usually get them within the hour, but some I've had 24+ hours.

Yea it's not Interac transfer because the amount is greater than $1K.

Does it matter if both banks are in the same City?

Well as long as it shows up before Friday, obviously the sooner the better.

TD is $3k max, they're now charging $1.50 for that interact email transfer
