Daredevil > Jessica Jones > Luke Cage > Iron Fist

Although I binge-watched through it over the weekend, I didn't think it was as good as the other Marvel Netflix series. I had a few issues with it:
Spoiler:
- Pacing was very slow, although it was also slow in the other series, they seemed to focus on his 'Danny Rand' corporate character way too much for first 5 or 6 episodes, and ended up not being an important part of the story. Reminded me of Arrow, but they had 25-26 episodes on their first season. Didn't work as well when you're cramming it into 13.
- I was under the impression that the origin story would take place in K'un L'un for the first few episodes at least. I would have much rather seen him in that dynamic (or at least more flashbacks of it) than focusing on getting his company back.
- He's supposed to be fully trained by the time he got to NYC and also supposed to be the best martial artist in the Marvel Comic Universe. They went a slightly different route and didn't the do the character justice, especially with the weak fighting choreography. He also didn't seem all that likable in the second half of the series.
- I don't understand why Joy ended up wanting to kill Danny. He did nothing wrong, especially finding out that her dad is alive and a lunatic and her brother blaming him for everything towards the end. Seemed like poor writing on that part.
- No Immortal Weapons. Big disappointment. They had a version of Bride of Nine Spiders and maybe someone else but they sucked and wasted the characters.
Overall the series was okay. It's not as bad as the reviews made it out to be, but definitely the one I least liked out of the 4. They definitely could have done a better job in writing, choreography and character development. I feel they rushed it to get it out of the way so they could start The Defenders.
