Daredevil and Jessica Jones were awesome.

Luke Cage I never made it through as it was just too slow for me.

Iron Fist I will check out but I hope it lives up to what I was expecting.

Just plowed through Iron Fist and it's definitely the worst of the 4.

Daredevil > Jessica Jones > Luke Cage > Iron Fist

It has been cancelled. I was going to check this out before I read that it's not coming back.

I am actually enjoying Iron Fist and think it's better than Luke Cage and have been able to almost binge watch it.

I know it's a few years old now but I just recently found The Blacklist on Netflix. Never watched it before now. I'm three episodes in and I think I'm hooked.

Also if you're a Schwarzenegger fan, check out
    Escape Plan
    The Last Stand

Escape Plan had elements of Face Off (Cage/Travolta) and Fortress (Lambert) to it. As well as obvious nods to things like Prison Break.

The Last Stand was surprisingly enjoyable. Arnie really showed signs in this one that he's not finished with his acting career yet. I'd only dock it for the ridiculous over the top use of blood squibs on every gunshot death, and a couple ridiculous (physics defying) stunt scenes involving the corvette.

    +1

Although I binge-watched through it over the weekend, I didn't think it was as good as the other Marvel Netflix series. I had a few issues with it:

    Spoiler:

    - Pacing was very slow, although it was also slow in the other series, they seemed to focus on his 'Danny Rand' corporate character way too much for first 5 or 6 episodes, and ended up not being an important part of the story. Reminded me of Arrow, but they had 25-26 episodes on their first season. Didn't work as well when you're cramming it into 13.

    - I was under the impression that the origin story would take place in K'un L'un for the first few episodes at least. I would have much rather seen him in that dynamic (or at least more flashbacks of it) than focusing on getting his company back.

    - He's supposed to be fully trained by the time he got to NYC and also supposed to be the best martial artist in the Marvel Comic Universe. They went a slightly different route and didn't the do the character justice, especially with the weak fighting choreography. He also didn't seem all that likable in the second half of the series.

    - I don't understand why Joy ended up wanting to kill Danny. He did nothing wrong, especially finding out that her dad is alive and a lunatic and her brother blaming him for everything towards the end. Seemed like poor writing on that part.

    - No Immortal Weapons. Big disappointment. They had a version of Bride of Nine Spiders and maybe someone else but they sucked and wasted the characters.

Overall the series was okay. It's not as bad as the reviews made it out to be, but definitely the one I least liked out of the 4. They definitely could have done a better job in writing, choreography and character development. I feel they rushed it to get it out of the way so they could start The Defenders.

I have seen all the seasons and I really enjoyed The Blacklist. I recommend sticking with it, but it sounds like you already like it. Unique plot, and it stays very enjoyable throughout the seasons IMO.

I'm 8-9 episodes in Blacklist and it's such a great story with some terrible casting. James Spader carries this show so well, you don't really care most times. But there are moments where I wonder why they failed so bad casting Elizabeth Keen. Just watch any of the chase scenes, or a lot of her 'serious' moments.

Such a creative story and James Spader is phenomenal

^^ Yup, Spader is by far the biggest talent in the show IMHO. I don't mind Donald the FBI guy either, but his character is pretty one dimensional anyway. Keen is a much worse actor, but like you say, doesn't really affect the show. It's a very satisfying show to watch, lots of cool scenes and I always like finding out bit by bit the master plan Spader has.

Both of Dave Chappelle's Stand-up Specials released today. Can't wait to see them.

Just finished American Odyssey...it was great. Kind of like Homeland but with a survivalist theme instead of crazy-lady themed. Very good if you like Homeland and or anything military/government drama related.

I loved that show, but made the mistake of watching it before looking up that it got canceled - huge disappointment!

I recently found Shameless and it's the best show I've seen in a long time. There's a UK version and a USA version, much like The Office but I've been watching the USA version. I think I'm on season 5 of 8 now.
Also Atypical is the best show I watched last year, it's a great representation of a kid with Aspergers and his interpretation of daily life. Very funny too.

I just finished it too. 4/5 for me.

I did find it funny when Micheal C. Hall would swear he would sound like Dexter haha.

Found this a little slow. All the facts could have been summed up in a 15min clip. But still has some appeal.
