    Default Rims/TPMS for 2012 Odyssey

    Yea it's a swagger wagon. ;-)

I priced out 4x steels and 4x TPMS at T&T for $575 tax in.

I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for better rims. I saw Kaltire has the Core Racing Lizea for $120/ea.. something like that or cheaper.

    Any suggestions?

I have my own winter tires to put on already.

    Thanks!
    Greg

I bought a set of OEM steelies and TPMS from Calgary Honda for our '12 Odyssey a while back. Was looking at some wheels on TireRack but in the end steelies were a lot cheaper.

You gonna take it in to get TPMS programmed? They say how much they charge for that?

They set up my wifes car with rims and tires for basically about the same as if I would have ordered off tirerack.

Sorry for being a little off topic.

The stupid Honda TPMS needs to be reprogrammed every time you swap the wheels.

Anyone know where to reset it for cheaper than the $40 the dealer charges?

My understanding is that Walmart doesn't charge for the TPMS reprogram if you pay for the swap winter/summer or back.

That info is as fresh as my last conversation with the lady at Royal Oak Walmart.

Most of these machines can't read the IDs so add in the cost of unmounting one set to physically read the IDs.

Nothing to add, but I've got the exact swagger wagon, so I'm subscribing.

Well Honda charges $40 to swap the wheels over and reprogram. I took the effort to swap my own wheels and Honda still charged $40.

This year I'll just let them do the swap.

I'll also add something useful to the topic. We got a set of 17" wheels (RTX brand I think, simple 6 spoke) and Blizzak dm-v1 winter tires, with TPMS for our CR-V at Airdrie Honda for $1475 +gst.

I ended up getting a new set of wheels for my Ridgeline and needed the TPMS sensors and I got them off of ebay for I think it was like 80 bucks. Then took it to Ravi at Minute Muffler on 32nd and I can't remember if he even had to reprogram it or if it was learning thing. Either way, he's most likely your cheapest bet when trying to compare with the dealerships or even a lot of other companies!

Cheaped out and went with the steel rims. Got a set of covers at Can Tire for $60.

    Looks great!

Where are you guys ordering your TPMS sensors from? Online or the dealer?

I got from the dealer. Village Honda did $56/each, but I did also buy the steel rims and installation from them.

I average price on eBay seemed to be about $180/4 + shipping and no guarantee they were the right ones, or had all the bits with them.
