The Rest & Be Thankful Laddie 18 and the Port Carlotte 14 are both freaken Delicious!

Neat, I drove past the "rest and be thankful" place the other day. Didn't see any distilleries there.

Speaking of which, anyone know what a Glenturret 12 goes for in Cowtown? Or have opinions of that one? Might be in the area and thought it'd be good for a gift for a pal of mine.

Haven't tried the Glenturret 12 but if you're in the area, they have one of the best restaurants in Scotland at their distillery. Two Michelin Star in 2024, gets rave reviews!

Bring yourself back some Springbank and Kilkerran if you know what's good for ya.

Andrew's (KWM) trip to Scotland showed the Tormore distillery, not sure if it's enroute but it looks beautiful.

Stumbled into this deal at Costco

Did a Diageo tasting of all these Special Editions and I'll just say this - it's worth about $30. The Glenkinchie 27 was #1 (good but hideously overpriced), but the Roseisle 12 YO was #2 and actually priced decently well; really hope to see more from Roseisle.

If they still have the G&M Craigellachie at Costco, I'd hop on that.

And as much as I really dislike Sierra Springs in Airdrie, they are having a sale right now with ridiculous pricing (as in Benromach 15 for $89!). I know some of you guys like Kilchoman, which were also featured with fabulous pricing.

Any particular reason? I have not been as they are a hike, but they certainly appear to have the highest volume of scorching deals in the area.

Website has had bad inventory, a couple cancelled orders because not actually in stock.

Allocation of harder to find bottles is a disaster - website crashes and bots get them all.

Some bottles that are hard to find they'll group together as a 'package' with something crappy to move volume (super greasy).

And frankly they don't have much interesting in the exclusive cask world or exciting bottles. But for more typical things, they can have good pricing.

Craft Cellars are basically the same, and their in-house staff aren't particuarly knowledgable or helpful. Supporting bots is not my jam.

BSW has some stellar deals and excellent selection.

Zyn has decent pricing on stuff, but man the old lady that works there acts like she hates everyone that walks in (I think she's the owner or manager).

KWM, Willow Park, Silver Springs, WoW, Vine Arts, and Corked are awesome. In a City as blessed as Calgary to have such a vast selection of good scotches at your fingertips, it's pretty easy to pick out who to support.

I'd hate to look at my total spend at KWM
