I got that one as well. It wasn’t expensive iirc, somewhere around $100.

Co-Op has Bunnahabhain 12 on for $65. And the Shackleton blend isn't bad at $40 either, but I'd rather the Craigellachie or Bunna.
@Brent.ff got me onto Schackleton, really good for the $$. A nice go-to

Yo bro, are you from that goat Calgary car forum that get salty over lawn care, land rovers and circumcisions? That's straight fire.

The Offerman lag was $120 from wine and beyond, was an impulse buy while I ran in to buy some beers.

Had a sample last night, delicious. Nice balance of spice, sweetness and smoke. No ragrats.

Pricey bottle but it's a throwback to an older style Bowmore, coming in at a respectable 51.5%. These releases were created in collaboration with Aston Martin. The 21 is fantastic but the 22 is even better.

Yea, if you like Highland Malt it's a banger. Plus Shackleton was a f*cking legend. Read Endurance if you haven't... should be mandatory reading in schools these days so kids realize what pussies they are.

That's not a bad price at all given what Lag is asking for the 8, 12, and 16 these days!

That's sweet. For the price, I was amazed at how quickly these were sold out as soon as they became available.

Not that it's in the same league, but I just picked up a Bowmore X Aston Martin 15yo and 18yo releases at Duty Free in recent trips. Prices alot more reasonable on those guys.

The Kirkland islay is back as well, and still excellent. It’s $59, and is as good or better than any islay under $150 imo.

They’re both at Taza Costco. Saw them today.

Had some friends over for a wide range of tastings tonight.

Of what we had tonight (which was a lot!!) the Edradour 13 CS, Bowmore 18, Springbank 15, Kilkerran 16 and Kirkland 19 were the stars. I'm really glad there were things people didn't like, it helps to hone your tastes!

    Nice Lineup!

Of the hundreds of whiskies I've tried, those represent exactly 0! Not easy (or cheap) to find!

Wow so you would put the Kirkland 19 up there with SB15 and Kilkerren 16? I like both of those quite a bit...

Maybe I'll need to pick one up to try. I have a bit of a Kirkland collection going; 18, 21, 22 and 23. A bit of hit and miss imo. The 18yo is great, the 23yo is the most disappointing.

I wouldn't say the Kirkland is in the same league as the SB 15. But was definitely a favourite of the night!

Working on a cool project for Springbank right now, pretty exciting release dropping from them in the next few days here, worth keeping an eye out.

Yes haha but cheaper than purchasing on secondary for the lucky few who'll have a chance to buy direct.
