Holy winter batman, it's pretty bad now. I wish I had an R instead of a GTI lol.
It wouldn't be March without at least one huge snow fall. I wonder how bad it is going to get!
So bad that people in the south will be delayed when trying to get to Timmies for their morning fix.Originally posted by Maybelater

Will fuck off, again.
We all have SUVs and 4x4s down here so we can still get around no problem. I feel bad for those northies and their Hondas today though.Originally posted by speedog

Yeah... This'll be fun... Hey spikers can I pre-book you to come drag my sorry ass outta the ditch now?
Gotta run to town, grab the princess from grandmas & pickup advil for the teething monster...
Tempted to setup like I'm going wheeling with the tow-straps pre-hooked.

I bet you it's 138kV.Originally posted by Cos
Thats not going to end well. Looks like 69 with 25kV underbuild. That would feed a lot of people.
Good thing it isn't -30 today.

It's Glenmore. They've closed it off on the east side of Deerfoot. Also someone definitely went into the ditch/broke down in an Aston Martin in that same area.
Yea thats my buddies - he had to park it as it was getting sideways.Originally posted by effingidiot

Makes sense. The roads are total poo atm.Originally posted by revelations

I thought it would be a fun drive out there, but instead it was pretty nerve racking with whiteout conditions and tail/head lights appear out of no where.
Sometimes it was down right boring when you got stuck behing people going slow though.
This is just TOO tempting, a buddy and I took tomorrow off and are heading out Snowboarding, just hope the highway doesn't have any closures during the night.
Is Glenmore open up to Riverbend ? I cant find Graves Bridge (which 660 news says is closed) on google.Originally posted by effingidiot

Graves bridge is the one that crosses the Bow going into Riverrbend.
